Workshop

Breath, balance and the slower Saturday reset.

A morning workshop for people who want more space inside their practice: guided movement, breath work and a simple shared close in the cafe.

Date Saturday 14 September
Time 10:00-12:30
Place Studio Root, New Mill
Book workshop

A small-group morning in the studio.

Who is this session for?

Please book this workshop if you are joining us for the first time, returning to movement after a pause, or looking for a steadier way into studio practice.

The session moves at a slower pace. We spend time understanding breath, equipment setup and how small adjustments change the feeling of an exercise.

What to expect

A guided morning with time to ask questions.

You will be guided through a clear sequence of movement and rest. Questions are welcome throughout, and the pace is intentionally spacious.

Your facilitator

Amanda Harpin

Amanda has been teaching movement and breath practice for twelve years. Her work draws on somatic principles — meeting the body where it is rather than where it should be. She teaches regularly at Root and leads seasonal workshops throughout the year.
